CONFESSION & REFLECTION!

Yesterday was one month ago we stopped being able to assemble in church for worship. I have spent this month (that seems much longer, I might add) enjoying the new thing that God is doing with the Church. I am getting to hear lots of inspirational messages from pastors of my past and others doing live and recorded videos. I have also watched and listen with delight and criticism. It breaks my heart to see how some have decided to use this opportunity to focus on the crisis and miss the responsibility of lifting up The Lord God and Redeemer of the world!

I confess my critical spirit as I examine my own life before God. I have been self-focused instead of seeing MY opportunity to lift up Jesus Christ so that I could delight The Lord; help my Christian brothers and sisters to do the same; and tell those who don't know they have been redeemed from the penalty of sin and don't have to die and go to Hell, because Jesus has paid their debt and wants them to be free and receive life Forever with Him.

This is my first step of repentance and getting back on track walking in The Spirit of God and doing my part witnessing unto Him, teaching the Word of God and nurturing new Believers in the disciplines of the New Life in Christ.

John the Baptist shows us how to prepare the way for the Bridegroom, Jesus Christ. John is Jesus' Bestman. Christians are the Bride of Christ and we are to be preparing the way for the Bridegroom to come for His Bride. We are the last Voice crying in the wilderness: "Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight."

Looking at John Chapter 14 we hear Jesus say not to let our hearts be troubled nor be afraid, He is leaving to prepare a place in His Father's House and He will come back to take his disciples to be with Him there. My heart was pierced tonight at hearing this statement and The Lord Jesus enlightening His view of the world, and more realistic, the world where I am. I'm shouting the Good News to anyone who reads this that if you don't KNOW Jesus Christ personally and had your life changed, let me introduce you.

ONLY ONE THING!

God created EVERYTHING, and it was GOOD. He created a man and a woman to ENJOY it with HIM. They only had ONE thing that was forbidden…they chose the ONE thing and death was the penalty!

As a result ALL of mankind lives under that sinful, selfish nature and penalty of death…ALL is forbidden!

ALL of mankind has only ONE thing that will give them LIFE…that never ends!

JESUS CHRIST, The Son of God is The Way; The Truth and The Life; no one comes to The Father but through Him! Why? GOD planted His Spirit into the womb of a young virgin girl so that He could become a Man…His purpose: to pay the penalty of death and FREE mankind to receive Life in, with and through God…to redeem us from the penalty of sin…death Forever!

ALL who believe Jesus Christ gave His life to redeem us will receive HIS One and Only SPIRIT to live within us so that we can complete His Purpose of redeeming mankind by telling those who don’t know, they have been redeemed.

“Let the Redeemed of The Lord say so!”

We have ONLY ONE THING to do while He (Jesus) is preparing our Heavenly Home. Are we doing it?

EVERYTHING we do must be doing this ONE thing…

”You will receive Power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My Witnesses…to the end of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

“ALL authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. GO therefore and make disciples of ALL nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and The Son and The Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

WHERE? WHEN?

Jesus said to begin in JERUSALEM!

It was WHERE they were NOW.

It was the City of God where His Presence dwelled.

It was the Home of the Jews, God’s Chosen People, their blood line.

It was the Place where the Sin Debt was Paid.

It was the Birth Place of The Church receiving The Holy Spirit.

FOR US TODAY:

Where we are NOW…the City; Home; Blood line (Family); Spiritual Family; the church where I meet with The Body of Christ. This is where we BEGIN…NOW…JESUS IS COMING SOON!
